History

December 1967 The company started as "HOSHIZAKI Manufacturing Corporation," which was founded in Nishijo, Oharu-mura, Ama-gun, Aichi-ken (currently: Nishijo Oharu-cho Ama-gun) as a subsidiary (65% of financial investment) of HOSHIZAKI CORPORATION(formerly HOSHIZAKI ELECTRIC Co.,LTD)
June 1972 A factory site was acquired in Matsushita, Nishijo, Oharu-mura, Ama-gun, Aichi-ken (currently: Matsushita, Nishijo, Oharu-chou, Ama-gun, Aichi-ken) and the factory was constructed.
June 1982 An assembly factory was established in Hanatsune, Ohara-cho, Ama-gun, Aichi-ken.
December 1986 A factory was established at 4-1 Ooshimizu, Kitasaki-machi, Obu-shi, Aichi-ken (currently: the Main Office's No.2 Factory).
April 1987 The percentage of financial contributions from HOSHIZAKI CORPORATION(formerly HOSHIZAKI ELECTRIC Co.,LTD) were reduced from 50% to 20%.
December 1987 The Main office was transferred to 4-1 Ooshimizu Kitasaki-machi, Obu-shi, Aichi-ken and the Nishijo Oharu-cho Ama-gun Aichi-ken Factory was closed at the same time.
The corporate name was changed to "Nestor Corporation".
August 1988 The Barrel Finishing-Type Roaster Washer was developed and the company entered the food service industry equipment business.
October 1988 The Tokyo business office was established at Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo-to.
February 1990 A factory was established in Hanatsune, Oharu-cho, Ama-gun, Aichi-ken.
May 1991 A new main office factory (currently: main office's No.1 Factory) was established in Ooshimizu, Kitasaki-machi, Obu-shi, Aichi-ken.
August 1991 A welding plant was established in Tomita, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya-shi, Aichi-ken.
February 1992 The Osaka business office was established in Kozu, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka-fu.
April 1992 The Water Chiller was developed and sales commenced.
May 1992 The factory site was acquired and the Shimane Factory was constructed in Kamo-cho, Oohara-gun, Shimane-ken (currently: Unnan-shi, Shimane-ken).
November 1992 Nestor was awarded the Aichi Prefectures Governor's Commendation for Company of Excellence for Improvement of Business.
June 1993 Factories in Matsushita, Hanatsune, and Tomita were split off as the Oharu Nestor Corporation.
November 1993 Employee stock ownership was established.
October 1994 The Water High Pressure-Type Roaster Washer was developed and sales were commenced.
March 1995 Nestor was awarded the Commendation of the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency for Company of Excellence for Improvement of Business.
October 1996 The Refrigerated Display Case was developed and sales commenced.
March 1997 The Shimane No.2 Factory was constructed in the same place as the first Shimane factory in Kamo-cho, Oohara-gun, Shimane-ken (currently: Unnan-shi, Shimane-ken).
May 2001 Nestor undertook a project to effectively utilize water resources through the application of an underground drinking water purification system.
November 2003 Sales of the Food Dryer commenced.
December 2003 Sales of the Heat Pump Water Heater commenced.
April 2005 Sales of the Microwave Oven and Air Cleaner commenced.
July 2006 Through a share exchange, Nestor became 100% subsidiary of HOSHIZAKI CORPORATION(formerly HOSHIZAKI ELECTRIC Co.,LTD)
June 2007 Sales of the Induction Warmer and Deodorizer commenced.
July 2008 The Nagoya business office was transferred to Kanayama, Naka-ku, Nagoya-shi, Aichi-ken.
December 2009 The Barrel Finishing-type Grills and Grids Washer was developed and sales commenced.
July 2010 The Water Chiller with Sink was developed and sales were commenced.
October 2010 Sales of the Built-in Water Punifier commenced.
January 2011 Sales of the Crescent Cuber Ice Machine commenced.
